From Art Therapy to IT

Edda Bültemeyer began her professional career in art therapy. After almost 15 years in this sector, she recognized that "the financial compensation was not sufficient to build a secure future." This led to her decision for a professional change into the IT industry.

Her technical affinity helped her make the transition. She first completed basic training in modern web development at a bootcamp. Despite initial uncertainties and intense challenges, Edda found her place in the tech world and developed the desire to delve deeper into the subject.

The Role of DevCraft Academy

During her participation in the Academy, Edda received a position as a software specialist at Austrian Federal Railways. The Academy supported her not only professionally but also accompanied her through the entire application process until she started the job.
