Clemens has always had a passion for supporting junior developers. Throughout his 20+ year career as a software developer and CTO, he focused on helping junior developers become independent development professionals across numerous organizations.

In his career, Clemens maintained a generalist approach, refusing to specialize exclusively in frontend or backend work. Instead, he remained engaged with all technical aspects of web applications, while also valuing product development, entrepreneurial thinking, and effective team dynamics.

Now bringing this comprehensive expertise to DevCraft Academy, Clemens emphasizes foundational skills and principles that endure across decades in software development, rather than focusing on specific technologies, programming languages, or frameworks.

Outside of work, Clemens enjoys mountain biking and spending time with Carola and their children. He particularly values meeting interesting people and welcomes conversations—those interested can schedule time with him directly through his calendar.
